Lack of parts

Postby Sri150 » Mon Jan 09, 2017 6:08 pm

Does anyone know where I can buy parts from (other than the (d)stealers) like brake discs and pads because It appears that no one is selling parts for the K?

How long does it take for parts to become available, the car came out in 2015??

I'm trying to change my disc's and pads because the brakes are absolutely awful compared to what I was used to on my old J, they even make a grinding noise during low speed braking, so I'm trying to change them to no avail

You might find Euro Car Parts worth a try. Buy on line and have delivery or collect locally. Good prices too.

Did try them, I do usually use them, but they don't have anything, only front wipers , and I think thats because they're the same as the J.

Just be aware that if you have electric parking brake you can't easily change brake pads yourself.

Yeah, had the electric handbrake on my old J , managed to avoid that on the K and got the manual handbrake

Never had a issue change them. Unless you know something different.
