Great email above, thanks. Mine just stick on half the time and it does my head in, especially as the car is in an indoor car park all day and they usually stay on when leaving at the end of the day.

Try to remove your car antenna. It causes a turbulence sound at my Astra (from 80km/h)..

I mentioned in another thread but the software update the sorts loads of issues including the lights is out now. I had it done today and the automatic lights work perfectly now.

With regard to night mode during the day...

When I had my run through of the car's features with my salesman, we were inside the garage. When it came to the SatNav, night mode was being displayed - which I did not like.

The salesman kindly made an adjustment (to what I don't know) and I now have permanent daytime SatNav. I though that I would put up with it at night as my old TomTom was bright at night and never caused me any problems - I found it easy to see.

Interestingly everything else does go night mode when going under trees etc. on a sunny day, with a quick response - it may be the Sat Nav dims a little, but it looks the same.

Shouldn't have posted about having permanent daylight mode - I must have set myself up for a fall. The car decided to go over to night mode permanently the other day!

On investigation the mode had been switched to auto (presumably had been day before, so I changed the selection back to day). OK for one day then reverted to night mode - again self switched to auto, so I reset to day again.

Fingers crossed it will stay on my selected day mode!

Has been OK for two days already - but my confidence is slipping!
